In the midst of training with her perpetually annoyed mentor, Maximillion, Isadora is unexpectedly thrust into a dangerous game with her most terrifying enemy: Cecelia Bianchi.
Will their expanding horizons prove to be their biggest danger yet?
Join the beloved sisters from FLAME in a new tale about growing up, moving on, and finding the courage within.

Good book. Again, I like this author and her books. This one is no exception. Good Job! I love dragons and this series.
Cannot get enough of this series and cannot wait to read the next book. Brought the first one for my daughter to read, now I get them for myself.
Fabulous continuation of the series. If you missed it, here's my review from Flame ...Great discovery of a new author, series, and set of characters. Katie Cross built an engaging world (honestly, she had me at dragons) that unfolds with complexity over time. I've just finished the trilogy and here are some thoughts: - The Dragonmaster Trilogy has a strong story arc that moves smoothly throughout the books. - There are DRAGONS! Naturally, there are also witches, magic, and the occasional troll. The world also boasts a few elusive goddesses, each tied to natural features (forest, mountains, desert, ocean). - Various regions hold different views of "appropriate" magic resulting in intrigue, politics, and battles. - The series is perfectly appropriate for fantasy fans including young adult and young-at-heart. The language is clean. Within the storyline, there is some reference to the torturing of witches, but limited detail; in the last book, an assault (rape) is mentioned with little direct description.Fast, FUN reads.
What a brilliant book and series. Sanna and Isadora, twins. Letum Wood where they live. Dragon Luteis who bonds with Sanna. Isadora who has the gift of sight. Fantastic book. About to read book three and can't wait.I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Don't know what to say. Make sure you have tissues and lots of chocolate nearby! Go potty first and make sure you have plenty of snacks, this is going to be a long and perilous journey!I could not put this down, even to care for my tiny humans! The second half really flares like a secundem! I could not only see the images so vividly, but I feel the power surging through the characters....the background music as it crescendos....the transition from one part of the story to the next (which means this will be one neck of a movie!!!)!There were so many warning signs for one character that I thought I was going to lose my mind! The explanation was legit but also felt like a let down. I was over thinking things....again.Didn't think a sequel could be better the the first, but it is. I am now on to the third installment. But first, an emotional break as I gather the pieces of sanity and heart and try to sort them out.
